The paperwork work is based on the image of Japanese shoji.
The shoji screens of Japanese houses give the viewer two phenomena (appearances): the real landscape and the fictional landscape woven by changes in the sunlight. This is a characteristic that Japanese paper has excellent translucency and breathability, which Western paper does not have. Using this characteristic, translucent ultra-thin Japanese paper (ganpishi) is pasted on a lattice wooden frame, and woodblock or copperplate printed paper is cut and pasted on both sides to create the work. And because the image on both sides has the thickness of the lattice (gap space), the image on the back side is projected like a mirage depending on the intensity of the light, creating a fictional world for human vision.
